What information may be used?
When you contact us, you may provide your name, telephone number, vehicle details, collection location, destination and information about the help you need. Please do not send information that is not needed for the enquiry.
How the quote form works
The website quote form prepares a WhatsApp message on your device. The website does not submit that form to an AAA Recovery database. Nothing is sent until you choose to continue in WhatsApp. WhatsApp then processes the message under its own privacy terms.
Why the information is used
Information is used to respond to your request, assess the vehicle and access needs, provide a quote, arrange and complete an agreed service, keep suitable business records, meet legal obligations and resolve questions or complaints. This processing is normally necessary to answer your request or perform an agreed service. Some records may also be kept where there is a legitimate business or legal reason.
Who information may be shared with
Details are shared only where reasonably needed to answer your enquiry or provide the service. This can include communications providers such as WhatsApp, a garage or destination you ask us to contact, professional advisers, insurers, public authorities where legally required, and an authorised treatment facility when an end-of-life vehicle is being transferred for disposal.
How long information is kept
Enquiry and job information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide the service, maintain required financial or insurance records, meet legal duties and handle disputes. Information that is no longer needed should be securely deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This version of the website does not use advertising cookies or visitor analytics. Essential technical storage may be used by the hosting platform to deliver and secure the website. This notice must be updated before optional analytics, advertising or similar tracking is added.
Your rights
